Walkers has partnered with Keep Britain Tidy, sponsoring its annual Great British Spring Clean. The month-long event encourages people across the UK to become #LitterHeroes, collecting and safely disposing of litter from our communities, recycling waste wherever possible.
“We’ve launched the UK’s first recycling scheme for crisp packets” explains John Artley, Walkers Marketing Manager. “For the first time this year, crisp packets will join the millions of other items being recycled during the Great British Spring Clean. We’re also getting our hands dirty, with members of the Walkers team taking part in litter picks across the UK.”
Walkers hope to get as many people involved as possible and encourage people to join in the conversation on social media using #WalkersLitterHeroes. The scheme aims to bring communities together while also encouraging people to recycle through the Crisp Packet Recycling Scheme.
