Japan Centre Group and Hanshin Shuhan Group announces strategic business alliance

Japan Centre Group has today announced a strategic partnership with Hanshin Shuhan Inc. taking a 49.5% equity participation of Japan Centre Group shares.

The new partnership heralds a new period for Japan Centre Group and will further solidify the company’s position as a leading authority on Japanese goods in the UK and Europe.

Hanshin Shuhan Group which holds JFLA Holdings Inc. listed at JASDAQ under Tokyo Stock Exchange, Atariya Foods Limited, a UK subsidiary, with other subsidiaries in Germany and the Netherlands with a wholesale arm, and restaurant division which are all owned by JFLA Holdings Inc.

The new partnership will strengthen the Japan Centre Group network resulting in the creation of a larger group that supplies and leads in Japanese wholesale, retail, and dining in the UK and will help further promote authentic Japanese products, culture and food traditions in the UK and Europe. Customers can expect a more comprehensive offering and better value on a wider choice of products and ingredients across retail, online and restaurants.
